DanSynergy
DanSynergy, an entertaining and artistically meaningful evening of new and eclectic dance works, featuring a collaboration between artistic director Carlos Agudelo and Hub-Bub’s artists in residence, Ellie Pierson and Sarah Witt, and featuring members of the Spartanburg Philharmonic Orchestra.

 

Peter and the Wolf
Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev wrote this symphonic fairytale with the intent to teach children the instruments of the orchestra. Each character in the piece is identified with a different musical instrument. Peter & the Wolf is full of youthful charm, wit and spontaneity. Experience the timeless music of Prokofiev as Ballet Spartanburg brings this delightful story to life with choreography by Artistic Director Carlos Agudelo and Russian themed costumes and sets.

 

Parsons Dance
Presented by Chapman Cultural Center's Center Stage and Ballet Spartanburg

The sexy, athleticism, exuberant personality and joyous movement that is Parsons Dance is comprised of ten full-time dancers and maintains a repertory of over 60 works (20 with commissioned scores) choreographed by David Parsons. The company's style is a fusion of the gesture and movement that make up the modern dance vocabulary, and the discipline and precise execution one expects from a classical company.
