Dance Center Classes

The Dance Center has two separate Divisions of Schooling: the Pre-Professional Division and the Open Division. Our Pre-Professional students further their study outside of Spartanburg, attending professional institutes such as The Boston Ballet, The Harid Conservatory, Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and Universal Ballet Academy. Our graduates have danced professionally and trained on full scholarship with The Houston Ballet, The Orlando Ballet, The School of American Ballet, The American Repertory Ballet, Charleston Ballet Theatre, The Rockettes, and on Broadway, NYC.

Our Open School Division provides high-quality instruction with scheduling flexibility. It serves the needs of students wishing to participate for exercise, recreation, and dance appreciation. Our Open Division offers Ballet, Jazz, Modern Dance, Repertory, Irish Step, Boys Dance, Middle Eastern Dance, and Yoga.
